The Volkswagen Formula XL1 concept

Here are the pics and video of the Volkswagen Formula XL1 concept revealed at the Qatar motor show. The concept is VW’s latest take on an environmental vehicle, producing this two-cylinder hybrid car that apparently runs on just 0.9 litres of fuel per 100 km.

The two-seater model’s 800cc engine produces 48 hp and 120 Nm of torque, while the front-end electric motor provides another 27 hp. All for an astounding 24 g/km of CO2 emissions.
